FootieCamp and Free Footie provides children from 8 – 12 the opportunity to play soccer alongside peers of similar age and skill. Proceeds from FootieCamp go to Free Footie which allows Edmonton kids living in poverty to play soccer for free.
Building this site with with Big Pixel Creative has proved to be a great rewarding challenge. We needed to provide a system for online player registration that was not available with existing plugins and without a nominal fee. We created a custom solution to allow people to register as well as other admin users to maintain the teams with supervisors that will accompany each event.
